A slicked back bun, healthy skin, and glowy makeup can instantly uplift your mood and make you feel like you can tackle the day. There’s also something super therapeutic about getting ready for the day, especially when you have the time.
It can also help on those days when you feel lazy and groggy… because when you get ready, you feel way more productive and motivated to do things.
5 Minute Slicked Back Bun
First things first, let’s do your hair. It’s literally such an easy hairdo that makes any beauty routine look chic. You will only need 4 things: brush, rat tail comb, hair gel, and hair ties. Make sure to brush your hair in order to smooth it out. Next, split your hair with the rat tail comb. I don’t like splitting my hair in the middle (I can’t pull it off like others), so I split it off-center. Then you want add hair gel and comb your hair back, tightly pulling it into a mid pony tail. This is the most important part to making the bun look super tight. Lastly, with a second hair tie, wrap your hair in a bun and keep the ends pointed to the top. Add a little hair gel to the ends to make it peek out and stand a little, and you’re done!
