Skincare is such an important part of my self-care routine. I love treating myself and splurging on luxe skincare, but I also love finding affordable routines… especially when it’s part of my daily lifestyle. Over the years, I’ve tried multiple skincare products, so today on the blog I’m sharing affordable skincare products worth buying from Target. You can read through my recs and customize your skincare routine to the perfect routine for your skin type and budget!
Face Wash
La Roche Posay Purifying Foaming Face Wash, Toleriane Purifying Facial Cleanser for Oily Skin with Niacinamide
I’m a La Roche Posay stan. Their products have good ingredients and my skin always feels great when using! This daily face wash is the perfect simple cleanser that washes away dirt and makeup, leaving your skin clean while not breaking the bank. You can pick a bottle up for $15.99 and it’ll last a few months!
La Roche Posay Effaclar Acne Face Cleanser, Medicated Gel Face Cleanser with Salicylic Acid for Acne Prone Skin
Another good cleanser! When my skin needs a little more help because of acne breakouts and blemishes, I opt for this medicated cleanser. It feels really nice and cooling on the skin, so it’s perfect for the mornings when you need a little wake-me-up! It’s $15.99 for 6.76 fl oz., which is such a great price for the amount of product you’re getting.
Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser Fragrance Free
Dermatologist recommended and great for all skin types, this is a classic cleanser for only $12.49. You get 16 fl. oz., which will last you honestly probably 6+ months! I found that this face wash wasn’t the best at removing makeup, but it’s a good simple cleanser on your no makeup days! I highly recommend double cleansing and removing your makeup or sunscreen with a cleansing balm before washing with the Cetaphil face wash.
Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser
A little more gentler than the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, this gentle foaming facial cleanser is another great skincare product. I actually found that this cleanser removed my makeup better than the daily facial cleanser. Let me know if you’ve experienced differently! I love how although it’s a foaming cleanser, my face still felt very hydrated afterwards. It’s a mild face wash for sensitive skin and is at a great price point under $10!
Moisturizer
La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer with Ceramide
Adding the the La Roche Posay lineup. This moisturizer helps to repair the skin’s natural protective barrier, restoring healthy looking skin. I have combination skin, and I feel like this moisturizer helps to keep the oil levels at bay, while still moisturizing the dry areas of my face. One thing about this moisturizer that’s not quite my fave is that it has a bit of a grainy texture. However, it’s not a big deal and I’ve purchased this multiple times because of how my skin feels using it. For $20.99, this moisturizer lasts for about 2-3 months of daily use (day + night).
Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin
A great lightweight moisturizer that hydrates the skin! I have combo skin and I love this for the mornings, as I personally prefer a thicker moisturizer at night time. This Vanicream moisturizer is fragrance free and great for sensitive skin, so if you’re looking for a new lightweight moisturizer, this is a great option for under $20!
Cocokind Texture Smoothing Cream
This moisturizer works wonders for smoothing skin texture. I’m not lying when I say I saw a different in my skin texture overnight. The next morning after using this product, I noticed a significant difference – my skin was smooth and plump. I’ve repurchased this multiple times! You can grab it for $22.99 and I can assure you’ll love it just as much as I do (hopefully)!
Lip Care
Vaseline Lip Therapy
These lip balms are hydrating and affordable. Plus, the scents smell good and you can choose a tinted rosy balm if you opt for color! They’re about $2, which is a great price for a balm that lasts a while. You can buy all and throw them in your purses!
Aquaphor Healing Ointment Advanced Therapy for Dry and Cracked Skin
Very simple, but highly recommended. I love the Aquaphor healing ointment and how it’s in a tube vs. a pot. The tube helps to keep germs from contaminating the whole product, especially when you’re running errands or out and about. This is perfect to throw in your tote!
Treatments
Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Acne Pimple Patches
These pimple patches are my holy grails. Whenever I have a white head emerge out of nowhere, I put a pimple patch on and it helps to speed up the recovery process. I find that when I use these pimple patches vs. popping my pimples (yikes), my skin doesn’t scar badly. It also helps to hide the redness, which helps to steer the attention away from my zit. I use the original pimple patches during the day and the invisible pimple patches at night or when I’m going out in public. You can grab both of them for about $20! I even have a travel size in my purse just in case I forget to put one on before leaving the house.
La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm Vitamin B5 Soothing Therapeutic Cream for Dry Skin and Irritated Skin
Love is an understatement when it comes to the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm. My sister introduced me to this product and I’ve never looked back. Since I have combination skin, some areas of my face get really dry. This balm helps soothe and keep my skin supple. It’s very hydrating, but lightweight. I even sometimes use it as an eye cream because it’s just that good! You can grab it for under $20 and it’ll last a while! This has recently been selling out because it went viral on TikTok (sigh), so if you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend.
Mighty patch staaaaan! I love how accessible they are to buy now!
