Neutral End of Summer Outfits That Won’t Go Out of Style

Summer is almost over, but the heat isn’t going away any time soon. If you have a few summer outings and are in need of a few outfit ideas, here are a few end of summer outfits that won’t go out of style! Majority of the pieces from the looks can used for multiple to seasons ahead, which is what I love – especially if you’re on a budget.

For instance, bralettes are a must in my wardrobe because I wear them throughout the year. In the Summer I wear it by itself (with a skirt/shorts/jeans), but when the months cool down, I usually layer it with an oversized cardigan or jacket and cute high-waisted jeans. Get where I’m going with this? Although I’m showing end of summer outfits, I’m also incorporating individual pieces that are all around classics and essentials for your wardrobe.

Classic High-Waisted White Linen Shorts

For the warmer seasons, style these high-waisted linen shorts with a bralette, a bucket hat, and platform sandals for the perfect, breezy warm weather outfit. White linen shorts are a staple in your wardrobe because you can pair it with almost anything and it will look good! A bodysuit, tank top, blouse, you name it! You can’t really go wrong with this one.

When the colder seasons come around, opt to style high-waisted linen shorts with a bodysuit and long coat or jacket. For shoes, you definitely have to wear high-waisted boots to level the outfit. You can even dress it down with an oversized crew neck and Dr. Martens.

The shorts I’m wearing are from J. Crew and are unfortunately sold out, so I’ve compiled a few similar items:

Bralettes, Satin Skirts, and Satin Pants

Like I said previously, you can easily layer bralettes for the colder seasons or simply wear them as an undergarment. I love bralettes for the summer because it’s super comfy to wear and easy to style.

Satin skirts and pants are another one of my faves! You can style leather combat boots with the satin skirt to create a soft, edgy look. Pair the satin pants with an oversized sweater and white sneakers to make for a soft girl look!

White Flowy Dress

You can never go wrong with a white flowy dress in your wardrobe. During the warm spring and summer months, you can wear it as a cover up with sandals, and when the cold comes around, you can swap the sandals out for some knee high boots!

This particular dress from Gap is unfortunately sold out, but they have some other nice dresses!
