When it comes to skincare, I don’t mind splurging if my skin reacts well to the product. Through my skincare journey, I’ve found some products that will stay in my skincare routine for a long time! Last year I started using Kiehls products and I’ve been loving them ever since! If you haven’t read my skincare routine, you can read it here. My skincare routine is basically the same, but I’ve taken out physical exfoliants and have added chemical exfoliants. I’m in the midst of adding The Ordinary serums and toners/chemical exfoliants to my skincare which I’ll update my current skincare routine, but for now here are my fave Kiehls products:
Ultra Moisturizing Facial Cream
My everyday cream. I use this product in the am and pm and let me tell you- my skin absorbs every single bit of it. I’ve had a fair share of using facial moisturizers and this is by far my favorite. I especially love this product because of how lightweight it is and how a little goes a long way. The formula also doesn’t leave a sticky residue which is a plus for me. No one loves sticky moisturizers!
My mom has been telling me to wear sunscreen in the morning so I have yet to try the sunscreen version of this product. I have high hopes though because I haven’t found a Kiehls product I disliked. Sunscreen is important- it minimizes your pores and protects your skin from sun damage so I def have to get on it!
Avocado Eye Cream
This creamy goodness hydrates my eyes so well. It hasn’t done much to lighten my dark circles, but I can tell my lashes have been growing a little from adding this to my routine. The consistency is thick, but once you start dabbing it on your skin it becomes easier to spread around your delicate eye area. By hydrating the skin your eyes, you’re helping reduce the chances of getting new wrinkles. My skin feels so plump when I wake up in the morning.
Midnight Recovery Concentrate
If I had to choose between keeping one face oil, I’d choose this one. I received a sample of it and instantly fell in love. It actually lasted me a pretty long time too for a sample size. It’s an elixir with pure essential oils and distilled botanicals to restore and refreshen your skin by morning. I don’t use this every night, but when I do, I notice a smoother and brighter complexion. This serum works wonders over nights and leaves my face feeling like a baby’s bottom. You can either incorporate this into your nightly routine or use it when you need an extra oomf!
