Affordable and high quality, Naturium skincare doesn’t disappoint.
I first found out about the brand when I was browsing skincare at Target. I later found out that the founder was Susan Yara, which I loved watching on YouTube for skincare advice. She’s extremely knowledgable about skincare and ingredients that are good for your skin, so I was super excited to try the Naturium skincare line.
This post is about my experience using Naturium skincare.
Naturium Skincare Review
Affordable Pricing
Naturium skincare is pretty affordable and in line with other drugstore pricing. Their products range from $14 – $45. You can create a full day and night skincare routine (including serums!) for under $150, which is great if you’re on a budget and want a more complex routine vs. a basic cleanser + moisturizer combo.
Naturium Skincare Products
Niacinamide Cleansing Gelée 3%
The Niacinamide Cleansing Gelée is formulated with a clinical level of niacinamide that gently dissolves makeup, oil and other impurities while targeting the look of dark spots and uneven texture. This cleanser is supposed to leave your skin feeling softer, smoother and more balanced.
It’s simple and does the job. The cleanser doesn’t make your skin feel stripped and gently cleanses your makeup. I’d recommend double cleansing with a balm, so it speeds up the process and deep cleanses all of your makeup away.
Vitamin C Complex Serum
I love a good vitamin c serum for the morning and this one from Naturium is good and effective. It’s not sticky (the worst) and glides on really nicely. There’s no stickiness or stinging – an pro for sensitive skin. I use 1 pump every morning and still have a lot of product left. I’m going on 2 months of having a bottle, which is great because it’s $20.
This vitamin c serum + the niacinamide serum has been a game changer in my overall complexion. I apply both serums every morning. The combo leaves your skin looking smooth, hydrated, and brightened.
Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2%
If you’re new to niacinamide, this serum is a great option to add to your routine. Niacinamide is good for smoothing skin texture and improving skin hydration. Naturiums niacinamide + zinc serum combo is great for improving uneven visual skin tone and minimizing the look of pores and fine lines.
As mentioned above, this serum + vitamin c has noticeably improved my skin’s complexion. It absorbs quickly and blends perfectly with other serums. I highly recommend.
Retinol Complex Serum
The skincare ingredient every talks and raves about… Retinol. The Naturium advanced retinol serum helps to improve the look of fine lines, wrinkles, topical elasticity, and uneven tone over time while also promoting overall visual radiance for the face.
I found that this retinol serum from the Naturium skincare line is actually pretty gentle and doesn’t dry out my skin. There’s also no stinging, stickiness, or scent, which is great for people who have more sensitive skin, but wants to add an active ingredient to their skincare.
The Brightener Vitamin C Brightening Body Wash
The vitamin C body wash is formulated to brighten the look of dark spots and dullness for softer, smoother and more radiant looking skin. It’s developed for all skin types, and gentle enough for daily use.
I usually don’t buy fancy body washes just because regular Dove bar soaps do the trick for me. However, the Naturium Vitamin C Brightening Body Wash is a good treat if you want to add a little excitement to your body care. It has a light citrus scent and foams up pretty nicely with a loofah. I can’t say if it made my skin brighter because I haven’t seen any noticeable difference.
Is Naturium Skincare Worth It?
Overall, I think the Naturium skincare line is definitely worth trying, especially if you’re on a budget and are looking to add more ingredients, serums, etc. to your skincare routine. I haven’t tried many of their body products to form a thorough opinion on if Naturium body care is worth, but let me know if you’ve tried!
